Sugar and Whitener Project

Up until this year all un-used sugar and whitener from our UK drinks factory was placed into general waste skips and sent to landfill.

To help realise our goal of reducing waste to landfill by 15% the UK drinks factory has installed a vacuum recovery system to collect and bag un-used sugar and whitener. This un-used product is then sent to a company who turn it into animal feed. This innovative solution will help reduce our waste to landfill by an estimated 100 tonnes a year.
