Engagement in the workplace is the relationship between a company and its employees. Employee engagement is also an approach to ensure that employees are committed to their company’s goals, and motivated to contribute to organizational success. The Workplace Vitality pillar, engagement, is an essential two-part concept for the work experience. Companies must engage an employee, who in turn has a choice about the level of commitment and relationship to offer the company in return. An engaged employee experiences a blend of satisfaction, job involvement and feelings of empowerment.
